BACKGROUND

GALLERY is the multimedial room of the Padovani Co. Ltd. where periodically thematic design expositions take place in collaboration with the most important companies of the sector. In 100 sq.m of open space which is absolutely neutral and provided with dynamic computer-directed stage-lighting, GALLERY represents a unique expositive experiment. Contemporarily, in an office-space with four multimedial locations, internet solutions for furnishing companies, software and training on professional computer tools are carried out. This space, besides being visited by people like a traditional furniture shop, is particularly appreciated by retailers, designers and company officials, who for different purposes take advantage from the services offered by the Padovani Co. Ltd. Opened on August 1997 with the exposition "Minimalism and Design" in collaboration with Cappellini joint-stock company, GALLERY was the scene in these last years of the following exhibitions:

• "A Home Like Me" in collaboration with Molteni & C. (December '97/May '98)
• "Rigour and Sobriety" in collaboration with Pallucco (July '98/September '98)
• "ATELIER the design by Misura Emme" (December '98/March '99)
• "Casa Moroso 1999" (May '99/October '99)
• "Kitchens for the Millennium" in collaboration with Euromobil (January/September 2000)

For each exposition, besides the traditional promotion made through flayers, advertising posters, commercials, mailing, etc., there is also the realization of multimedial contents like a virtual visit of the exposition or CAD simulations which allow a bigger public to take advantage from it through publication on the internet sites by the respective companies and the production of CDs-Rom.
For the whole length of the expositions and more, the Padovani Co. Ltd. is greatly concentrated on having positive results which can guarantee a return on investments for those companies giving their goods in free loan account.Besides these advantages, there is the possibility to organize company-meetings or welcome-parties for those retailers visiting the structure. An exposition is usually visited by a great number of individuals and lots of retailers who not always know the products and designs exposed and for this they represent an interesting opportunity for the companies exposing; thanks particularly to the attraction of computer design solutions proposed by the Padovani Co. Ltd., retailers have the opportunity to examine the products in a highly-professional and original context.
